Ms. Mallinson received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1994. She also attended the Facultad De Lenguas in Cordoba, Argentina. Ms. Mallinson received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School in 1998. While in law school, Ms. Mallinson was Vice President of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board and the Women Law Students Association. She received a CALI award for Excellence in the Field of Gender Discrimination Law. Additionally, Ms. Mallinson was also a clerk at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where she conducted Preliminary Hearings.

Ms. Mallinson is a member of the State Bar of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California. She is fluent in Spanish.

Since obtaining her law degree, Ms. Mallinson has handled a wide variety of litigation matters, primarily in the area of insurance defense litigation. Ms. Mallinson has experience in the areas of insurance defense, civil litigation, construction defect, medical malpractice, personal injury and insurance coverage litigation.
